Think of me as your steady, knowledgeable companion — someone who helps you understand your options, helps you to advocate for your own wishes and supports you (and your birth partner) through every stage. I don't replace your midwife or doctor; I work alongside them.

No. I'm not medically trained and I never diagnose, treat, or offer clinical opinions. My role is to help you access evidence-based information so you can ask the right questions and make informed decisions with your healthcare team.

Yes — I support all types of births in any setting. My role adapts to your plan, whether that's a hospital, birth centre, home birth, or planned caesarean.

No, I work alongside them. Every family is different — some partners want to be hands-on and central, others prefer more of a supporting role themselves. There's no one right way. We'll talk through this in your antenatal visits so your partner's role is exactly what you both want it to be on the day.

Anytime from early pregnancy onwards, though many people reach out in the second trimester. Earlier means more time to build trust and prepare together, but I also take on clients later in pregnancy when there's availability.

I will travel up to 1 hour from Bournemouth.
Travel within Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch is included in my fee. Beyond this area, mileage is charged at 45p per mile each way, up to my usual one-hour radius.
